Need to know
Have a question? Hopefully you can find the answer below. If not please contact us and we will be happy to help!
How much space will I need?
The space required for one teepee and mattress is 170 x 100cm. The breakfast trays are 52 x 29cm and are usually placed in front of each bed if there is room however these can be placed elsewhere if preferred. There are lots of set-up combinations we can try to make the most comfortable space for your numbers.
The bell tent is 5 metres in diameter and requires 7 x 7 metres of clear, flat grass. Unfortunately we are unable to pitch the bell tent on artificial lawn.We need to anchor the tent to the ground with pegs in order to make it secure and this would unfortunately put holes in your artificial lawn.
The picnic table for 6 guests is 73 x 146cm and the picnic table for 8 guests is 73 x 220cm. With rugs and seating they require a space of 2 x 3 metres.
We usually ask for the measurement of the space and/or a photo so we can estimate the best use of space.
When is payment required?
A £50 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your party date, and the remainder of the balance plus an additional security deposit of £50 is due 7 days before the event by bank transfer. The security deposit will be refunded once the equipment has been collected undamaged and fully inspected (usually within 48 hours). Costs for the replacement of any damaged items supplied, or breakages, will be deducted from this deposit.
How long does set up take?
The Bell tent takes between 2-3 hours to set up, teepee tents around 2 hours and picnic table approximately 90 minutes.
Access and car parking
We bring a lot of equipment with us so it would be helpful for us to park as close to the house as possible (directly outside your property or on your driveway) and that access to where we are setting up is clear. If there are parking restrictions in place and a permit is required, you will need to supply this to us.
Please advise if you live in a flat or would like the equipment taken anywhere other than the ground floor e.g. upstairs, loft, or basement. We will be be happy to to go up stairs, but it's good to know in advance.
